Alaska Horse Ranch

Welcome to Alaska Horse Ranch. I've spent years working this land in Wasilla, and there's nothing quite like it when the light stretches long across the Mat-Su Valley and the horses are out grazing with the mountains behind them. Whether your horse is passing through for a night or settling in for the season, I treat every animal here the way I’d want mine treated—checked on, turned out, and given real space to just be a horse. We get our share of rough weather up here, and I don’t cut corners on shelter, footing, or feed because of it; this is still Alaska, after all. If you’re heading through on a trip up the Parks Highway or you’re local and just need a trustworthy place to board, come take a look at the barn and pasture setup yourself. I’m usually around, happy to talk shop, swap trail stories, or just let you watch your horse settle in before you head back out on the road.
