Welcome to Trailhead Ranch, nestled right in the high desert country of Cave Creek. I've spent years working these trails myself, and there's nothing quite like watching the sun hit the saguaros on an early morning ride out of here. We keep things simple and honest for horses passing through or settling in for a while — good turnout, clean water, solid footing, and someone keeping an eye on things day and night. If you and your horse are stopping over on your way through Arizona, or looking for a longer-term home base, we'd be glad to have you. Our pastures back right up to the desert trails, so there's no shortage of riding right outside the barn door. I believe a horse does best when it feels settled, and I try to treat every animal here the way I'd want mine treated.
