Choosing well: Pasture and paddock

Look at the type of fencing (smooth wire and electric tape are not the same thing), whether there is a run-in shed and a water source, and whether your horse will be alone or in a group. A horse that knows nobody in an established herd has a bad night: ask for an individual paddock if yours is nervous.
